Towards the Moon and beyond , the space conquest with LEGO® Bricks
Not sure at which stage of parenting journey you are but currently, but in my family and especially my youngest one loves everything about Space and Lego. Recently she did a presentation about Space at school and she learned a lot about life in space and astronauts. Some mothns ago she did also the stage camp at the Euro Space Center which she highly recommends to everyone that loves Space or wants to learn more about Space and Astronauts.
So was without too much hesitation to drive to Liege with good friends to see the Exposition dedicated to the exploration of Space uisng Lego Bricks and located at the iconing Train Station of Liege conceived by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava.
The expo area is insidate the train station.
There are different rooms with different LEGO models that explain the history of humanity towards the realizaition of the dream to fly and conquer the space. Different models of different planes (even of the very first flying machines) , spaceships, STAR WARS themed exposition items, as well as LEGO art with portraits of famous pioneers in the flying and space quest like Jule Vernes, Antoine de Saint Exypery, the life of famous astronauts and more is all there…
The last room of the Exhibition is a huge room where children and adults can create their own Lego, there is even a space for very small kids with LEGO Duplo.
Parents can create with their chidlren if they want. There are also printed designs children can work with or simply make their own creations. Children and adults can also help finish the huge LEGO art by composing parts of the painting.
