The village of books, space and MUDIA the interactive arts museum (apr 50 from Lux in Belgium)

Redu…

May not be so well known or it may be very well known.

A small picturesque village of the Belgian Ardennes, Redu is the village of books. It is approximately 50 min driving towards Belgium and very close to Euro Space Center (only 7 min by car between these two).

A Sunday in October was quiet and very lovely to stroll in the narrow streets, to enter all the bookstores that were open, to see books, mostly in french but also in english new and old, a paradise also for comic books fans.

Art Galleries, cute cafes and restaurants, cafes that are also bookstores, we spend a couple of hours discovering and reading without any screens, only to take the photos.

In Redu you can enjoy the architecture of wallonian villages, natural material like wood is very present and you can just enjoy reading and relaxing.

We also visited MUDIA the interactive arts museum and we absolutely loved it.  I recommended for families with children to initiate them to art at it is very interactive, and with the usage of technology art comes into life.

Learn about the history of art, the different art waves: romantism, cubism, classikism, expressionism, surrealism and more in  playful way 🙂 Admire some of the most famous paintings and sculptures and at the end of the visit enjoy a snack, tea coffee etc at the lovely cafe surrounded by books and art. In good weather enjoy the lovely terrace : )

For 4 tickets (2 adults and 2 children) we paid 38 Eur (possible to pay by card).
