We visited the Garden of Lights in Dinant Belgium and we will tell you all about it!.
The exhibition is located at the Citadelle of Dinant , where there is big open air space to park your car (parking is free).
A practical tip as you need approximately 1h 18 min from Luxembourg : At the entrance, there is on the left a playground, and just behind the the first toilettes. At the entrance you can also scan the QR code to participate to a fun game where at the end if you and the children find the missing ”word” they will receive a small gift at the exit.
The parcour starts at the main illuminated arch the Smurfs: do not forget to take a group photos there it is a nice spot.
Then you enter the main area, a big illuminated garden where the adventure begins. Try to walk slowly and take time to observe, each figure, each illumination deserves a good look and nice photos. The children will be amazed by the playful environment, interactive stations, and the variety of colors, he little smurfs are everywhere, each one of them with their personality and character. But take good care : Gargamel is also there … The illuminated arch is also a great spot , although in this part the parcour gets a bit hilly but it is worth the climb… the parcour is possible to do in stroller, although in some parts there are some narrow passages.
Towards the end of the parcour do not miss the big open space with the nice round swings and the illuminated seesaws that will give lots of joy to the children.
